May 11 - 14
Charleston, South Carolina
It is almost time! This will be my 1st NGS conference so I'm really excited about it. The program looks amazing which means I had trouble making a choice for several time slots.
The location is an added bonus for me. I have several ancestors who lived in South Carolina so I'm leaving home a few days early to work in some research on the way to Charleston.
One of the best things about a genealogy conference is meeting people who share your obsession. If you'll be there, let me know.

Enjoy, Charleston is one of my favorite cities, ever, anywhere! Good luck on your research along the way, can't wait to read all about it!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing you there, Linda!
ReplyDelete:)
Hi Linda, I will be there as well! I can't wait! I'm going to meet a distant cousin there as well from my Brooks-Williams Lines from North Carolina :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to visiting Charleston for the first time, although I have no ancestral interests there. Enjoy your research, and have a great time at the conference - see you there :)
ReplyDeleteWish I was going, but I will just have to live thorough you. So make sure to report back with all the fun you have.
ReplyDeleteWill be working on trip planning this weekend!
ReplyDeleteHey, Linda! Wish I was going too. I was going to go, but I've decided to sit this one out because I am getting married in July and have a lot of wedding expenses. Maybe I will make FGS in Illinois after the wedding...LOL!
ReplyDeleteMyrt, Ginger, & Greta - looking forward to seeing you all again.
ReplyDeleteAudrey - hope we have an opportunity to meet.
Carol, Tina & Jennifer - wish you all were going.
Ginger - great that you will get to meet a distant cousin.
Greta - I need be working on research planning. I haven't even started fine tuning my to do list for 2 days of research.
I wish I was! I'll be looking foward to your updates.
ReplyDeleteI won't be there, but I will be reading your blog for conference updates.
ReplyDeleteHope to see you there! It'll be my first conference, but I've got no roots in South Carolina so I'll be enjoying the sights! :)
ReplyDeleteCheryl - Hope to see you.
ReplyDeleteMichelle & Amy - Wish you all were going too. Hopefully, I'll have enough energy left at the end of each day to post an update.
