Outdoor Decorations

It's hard to see the front door but it's wrapped in aluminum foil and ribbon to look like a Christmas present and there were lights in the greenery around the window. The local newspaper ran a contest for best outdoor decorations that year and we (actually Mom) won so I'm guessing that's why we posed for a picture in the front yard. It must have been pretty warm in Kentucky that December since only the baby is wearing a coat - Mom and I are even in short sleeves.
