The Christmas Tree
Over the years our family has had a wide variety of Christmas trees - short ones, tall ones, real ones, artificial ones (including the famous Silver Tree). There were many beautiful trees. And then there was this one.
This was Christmas 1963 (I think). I'm not sure who picked this tree when my brother, sister and I went out with Daddy to cut down our own Christmas tree. Doesn't it make you wonder how pitiful the trees we passed on had to have been?
